A bit of background. BadRectifier, as in a rectifier of bad design, came about repairing a Roland Jupiter-4 power supply during which we thought as a hypothesis, for a short time, that the AC current to DC current "rectifier" circuit (see picture) was "bad" but that hypothesis was tested and falsified when two new rectifiers replaced the two old ones in the circuit. In the image you see one of the older rectifiers on a upside down printed version of the Roland Jupiter-4 power supply circuit diagram. Levels of nesting is awesome. Anyway, I loved saying "bad rectifier" so much that I took it as the name of the new venture to rectify the bad while innovating great music gear to interconnect musicians whenever they are active and wherever they are.
The desire is strong for a couple of these units!
