• Russian Finance Ministry has reduced the forecast for oil and gas revenues for 2025 from 10.94 trillion rubles to 8.32 trillion rubles.
• The inflation estimate has been increased from 4.5% to 7.6%;
• The forecast for the price of Urals oil has been reduced from 69.7 to 56 dollars per barrel;
• The forecast for the ruble exchange rate has been adjusted from 96.5 to 94.3 rubles / US dollar.
• The budget deficit has been increased from 1.2 trillion rubles to 3.8 trillion.

Finance Minister Anton Siluanov said that defense spending will not be reduced.

Analysts believe that going forward, the government will have no choice but to raise taxes, cut some sensitive social spending, and borrow heavily if it wants to balance future budgets without cutting defense spending.
