Ukrainian forces have intensified strikes on Russian energy infrastructure, carrying out another drone attack on the oil refinery in Tuapse, the fourth in two weeks, targeting the country’s only Black Sea coastal refining facility with an annual capacity of about 12 million tons.

The strike ignited a fuel oil mixture in storage tanks, sending a dense column of black smoke above the terminal and highlighting the vulnerability of key export-linked assets. At the same time, Ukrainian drones targeted a refinery in Perm for the third time within a single day, with General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine confirming damage to the AVT-4 primary refining unit and a fire at the site, underscoring a sustained effort to disrupt Russia’s refining capacity and fuel logistics far from the front lines.
