Orest Malovanyuk was killed while performing a combat mission in the Vovchansk area of ​​the Kharkiv region. He was 27 years old.
Orest was not only a warrior, but also an outstanding athlete. Master of Sports of Ukraine, champion of Ukraine in orienteering (rogaine) and athletics (24-hour run), winner of the Ukrainian youth championship in 1 mile running in 2018.
Orest Malovanyuk has been fighting for Ukraine since 2017. He passed through the hottest points of the front: Sloviansk, Bakhmut direction, Khromove, Klischiivka, was engaged in air and ground reconnaissance. Orest's military skills and experience, his coolness and accuracy of actions made the soldier a legend among his brothers.

But on February 16, 2025, while performing a combat mission in the Vovchansk area of ​​​​Kharkov region, the Hero took the last battle.
