Z-bloggers and pro-government sources report a possible cancellation of the ground part of the May 9 parade. There is no official confirmation yet, but several signs point in that direction:

⚫️ Parade rehearsals at a training ground were canceled — troops were sent back “until further notice”
⚫️ No reports of preparations in Moscow or St. Petersburg so far
⚫️ The Kremlin is avoiding direct answers

According to Z-blogger Ilya Tumanov, the reason is the risk of long-range Ukrainian missile strikes. He notes that cruise missiles could reach Moscow in about 30 minutes, while ballistic missiles could do so in just 10. Even the threat alone during the parade would be a major reputational blow.

Amid the war, Victory Day parades have already been scaled down in recent years — with less equipment, minimal aviation, and fewer participants. (NEXTA)
