Kremlin correspondent and die-hard rashist Sladkov gushes over talks with the US and the promise of โgiant business projectsโ, yet still wonders how to โforgive the bastardsโ for the deaths of hundreds of thousands of Russians.
Two things stand out: a loyal Kremlin propagandist openly admitting such colossal losses, and the unmistakable sense that Putin cares far more about easing his own isolation than about the lives of the Russians he sent to die.

European Union interior ministers are set to endorse sweeping reforms to tighten migration controls today, amid ongoing political pressures from right-wing gains across the bloc.
Key elements of the proposals include:
โ Establishing "return hubs" โ offshore centers outside EU borders for processing and detaining migrants whose asylum claims have been rejected.
โ Imposing harsher penalties, such as extended detention, on those refusing voluntary departure.
โ Facilitating returns to "safe" third countries, even if not the migrant's origin.
Despite a 20% drop in irregular entries this year, governments are pushing forward to bolster deportation efficiency. France and Spain have raised concerns over legality and past failures of similar schemes, while human rights groups decry the plans as inhumane.

After he escaped from the hospital, his location was sold for cash โ by his own wife.

The defendants in the killing of American citizen Russell Bentley in Donetsk have been sentenced to up to 12 years in prison
The case involved four Russian servicemen - Vitaly Vansiatsky, Vladislav Agaltsev, Andrei Iordanov, and Vladimir Bazhin.
According to the court, Vitaly Vansiatsky mistook the correspondent for a saboteur and reported him to his command. After that, the soldiers were ordered to bring the American to the battalion's command post.
On the way, the servicemen began beating and torturing the victim to force a confession of involvement in sabotage. Bentley died as a result. To hide the murder, they hid the body in a car trunk and blew it up with a TNT charge. The next day, they returned to the explosion site and burned the remains.
The Southern District Military Court sentenced servicemen Vitaly Vansiatsky and Andrei Iordanov to 12 years in a maximum-security prison, Vladislav Agaltsev to 11 years, and Vladimir Bazhin to 1.5 years, the court's press service reported.
Russell "Texas" Bentley was an American pro-Russian fighter who had served since 2014 in the Vostok and Spetsnaz battalions on the side of the "DPR." He later obtained Russian citizenship and worked as a "war correspondent" for the propaganda outlet Sputnik. He disappeared at the front in April 2024, and his death was confirmed some time later.
