Deputies rescued 478 chickens from the ranch and seized dozens of “gaffs”, a razor that attaches to the birds' legs to make the fighting even more gruesome, 11 firearms, and $60,000 in cash.
3 men were arrested, one man with a permanent residence card, one whose immigration status is pending, and one who is undocumented. They face more than 300 counts of owning a bird for cockfighting and dozens of animal abuse charges.
