Coalsnaughton, UK Dozens of residents in a village in Clackmannanshire are still out their homes more than a week after ground movement was detected. Residents were forced to flee their houses on Benbuck View in Coalsnaughton during an emergency operation on Monday, May 18. The alarm was raised after a sinkhole was reported in the area at around 9.30pm, according to the local community council. 30 properties were evacuated. No one was injured. Photos shared by the Remediation Authority show heavy slabs, stones, and bricks having been raised, split, and significantly dislodged from driveways and front gardens due to the underground shift. Cracks and gaps also appear to have formed in ones of the homes' façades.
