🇹🇷 On May 17, 2026, an accident occurred in the village of Sarıyar in the Black Sea region of northeastern Turkey.
At around 6:30 p.m., a pickup truck lost control in the Guner area of the village. The vehicle rolled down a steep, tea- and hazelnut-orchard-covered slope, flipping multiple times over roughly 1,300 feet before stopping on a lower road.
During the initial rollover, the driver, Recep Yıldız (59), and the passenger were ejected. Both were injured and taken to the hospital for treatment.
