Thousands lost power across Placer County, Nevada County and Grass Valley on Easter Sunday after a squirrel came in contact with a utility pole and started a fire in Auburn, officials said.

A fire left one person injured Sunday morning at a home in southeast Albuquerque, according to Albuquerque Fire Rescue.
