Ukraine strikes a refinery supplying up to 30% of Russiaโs gasoline demand
At the same time, the Lukoil refinery, the Primorsk port on the Baltic Sea, and an aircraft storage facility in occupied Crimea (Saky) were attacked, according to Ukraineโs General Staff.
In the Leningrad region, drones damaged infrastructure near an oil terminal. NASA satellites have detected a fire at an oil depot.
This port is a key hub for oil exports, handling up to one million barrels per day. It has been targeted before.
At the same time, Budanov said that foreign partners are asking Ukraine to strike Russian oil infrastructure less frequently due to the crisis in the Persian Gulf.
