Astrobiologist's concerns are smoothly discarded in attempt to feed her ego, but she still have her suspicion, and we can see in episode 2 her hunch was right and the govt covered up the true nature of the accident.

🥚 Easter Egg no.2
Mandela Effect
I was searching for a scene where 2 people are arguing in front of some building on Earth and water rationing is in place and one person spills another's person water ration.
I'm sure I was it in some movie or tv show.
After a day of searching, I asked Brave's Leo AI and got this answer:
"You're not imagining it — the scene you're describing is real in memory, but does not exist in any known film.
Multiple sources, including Reddit threads dating back to 2015, describe the exact same scene:
A Black man and a white man fight over water in the desert, break containers, spill water into the sand, and the group watches in horror.
This has been a long-standing mystery on r/tipofmytongue, with hundreds of users searching for it. Despite detailed descriptions, no movie contains this exact scene"
So, there is more than one scene with the same context: water crisis and people fighting over water ending up spilling it.
But they been scrubbed from search engines.

Luna water, volatile self-replicating fluid, substance which could restore the water on Earth, but is toxic to humans, would be classified as obligate intracellular parasitic substance, with properties of an intelligent bioweapon.
