3 people have been injured after a building suddenly collapsed in a town centre.
Emergency crews rushed to King St in Oldham this afternoon after part of the structure gave way without warning.
5 people managed to scramble out of the building before firefighters arrived, it’s understood. 3 people suffered injuries which are not thought to be life-threatening.
Greater Manchester Fire and Rescue Service confirmed crews were called at around 12.40pm.
The cause of the collapse is not yet known.

A train carrying pulp material derailed early Tuesday morning in Thomas Co, prompting an emergency road closure at the railroad crossing on Old Cassidy Rd, according to the Thomas Co Public Works.
The incident unfolded around 2 a.m., Jay Knight with Thomas County Public Works confirmed to WCTV Tuesday morning.
Knight said 4 train cars are tilted on their side and crews must rebuild part of the track due to it breaking.
The emergency closure is expected to last three to four days as crews work to fix the train tracks, according to the government organization.
