Derailed train in Clare last night at the crossing of 5th and Ann Arbor Trail.

Northern tanker is currently relieving weight in the toppled traincar.

Cranes are due to arrive later this morning to do the heavy lifting. Cause still under investigation.

Here's a midday update on the crazy train situation. They brought in some heavy machinery to handle the hopper cars. During the maneuvering, thousands of white nerdles spilled from it. 50,000 pounds of plastic to be exact, according to the Northern worker who vacuumed the adjoined train car from this morning.
