Certain replicable experiments, including Cleve Backster’s various polygraph experiments with plants and other forms of life, and a host of mind-body medicine studies in humans, reveal that hatred destroys life and love enhances life. Although we could argue about the cause, the fact remains that when a human being sends harmful thoughts to a plant, it goes into great alarm and shock and will eventually wither and die, whereas other equally valid experiments showed that if a human being sends love to a plant and / or plays music around it, the plant will blossom and grow more vigorously.

Marcel Vogel read in a magazine about Cleve Backster's experiments and was able to replicate them. He got a psychogalvanic response from his plants when he induced stimuli onto himself, at first when he was next to the plants, and gradually increased the distance up to 8000+ miles with no decrease in the effect size.

More importantly than replicating and verifying the veracity of Cleve's results, the keen eye of Marcel noticed something..

His breath was inextricably linked to the transfer of his thoughts to the plant!

When he held his breath, there was no reaction, but with proper breathing the effect could be amplified. He continued to study this breathing-mediates-manifestation phenomenon and found that this held true for crystals too.

The most effective method of breathing was intense exhalation through the nostrils while focusing on your intention.

Marcel also found that if you didn't pay attention to an egregious act committed upon a plant, they did not register a response. Plants feel what you feel; what you expect them to feel, the emotions you ascribe to them. The plant, animal, crystal or body of water absorbs these emotions when you breath out, no matter where you are, as long as you are emotionally connected.

He was able to predict when a physicist stopped working on a complicated mental task based on the psychogalvanic response of plants synched to the physicist. Plants reacted strongly to spoken erotic stimuli.

In the 1970's Marcel did pioneering work in man-plant communication experiments. This led him to the study of quartz crystals and the creation of a faceted crystal. Marcel's research into the therapeutic application of quartz crystals led him to the investigation of the relationship between crystals and water. Australian ecologist named Monica Gagliano who has experimented with sensitive plants who close their leaves when touched, demonstrated that plants were capable of learning and that they would remember their changed behavior 28 days later, while the insects she subjected to similar trials had forgotten what they learned after a measly 48 hours.
