New York City's Carl Schurz Park near Gracie Mansion was evacuated Tuesday as police investigated a suspicious package.

The neighborhood has been on edge after this weekend, when two Pennsylvania teens were arrested over the weekend for allegedly bringing improvised explosive devices to a protest outside Gracie Mansion as part of "an act of ISIS-inspired terrorism," New York Police Commissioner Jessica Tisch said.

The NYPD said East End Avenue between 85th Street and 87th Street was closed Tuesday while the bomb squad investigates.

Shaun Whitehead (team leader) will now round up the team to get the missions scheduled.

Mission 1: final preparation for the Queens Chamber North shaft exploration. Making sure everything works as planned. Testing the robot inside the shaft.

Mission 2: QCN shaft exploration. Here we will look behind the blocking stone at the top of the shaft.

Mission 3: The Big Void exploration. I dont know the timing on this or the prior two missions yet but when I find out I will update here on X.

Shaun is optimistic that all three missions will occur in 2026, but this is fluid and these things have historically been delayed due to a variety of reasons.

After traveling 9 years and covering 3 billion miles, NASA's New Horizons spacecraft got this shot.

Behold! The icy mountains of Pluto.

🪐 Those mountains are made of water ice and stand 3,500 meters tall comparable to the Rocky Mountains. On a world where the surface temperature is minus 229°C.
Nobody expected this. Before New Horizons arrived in 2015 Pluto was assumed to be geologically dead a frozen relic with no internal heat source capable of driving mountain formation.
The ice mountains, the heart shaped nitrogen plain, the possible subsurface ocean none of it matched the predictions. Pluto rewrote its own textbook in the 24 hours New Horizons flew past it.
New Horizons had exactly one chance. No orbit insertion, no second pass. 9 years of travel for a flyby that lasted less than a day. Everything in that image was captured at 50,000 km/h with no opportunity to go back for a second look.
We have visited Pluto exactly once. That single photograph is everything humanity has ever seen of it up close.

🚨SATELLITES JUST CAUGHT SOMETHING MOVING AT IRAN’S NUCLEAR SITE

New satellite imagery circulating across the intelligence community shows excavation activity at the Isfahan nuclear complex.

Look closely.

A narrow track carved through the desert.
Fresh dirt mounds.
Heavy earth-moving right at the entrance of what analysts identify as an underground tunnel.

This is activity at one of Iran’s most important nuclear facilities.

After previous strikes damaged parts of the complex, Iran reportedly buried tunnel entrances with soil and debris to shield underground infrastructure.

Now satellites are showing digging again.

Which raises the question everyone in the intelligence world is asking tonight.

What are they trying to reach?

Some analysts believe Iran may be attempting to reopen sealed underground chambers.

Others believe they may be trying to recover highly enriched uranium stockpiles buried during previous strikes.
