🚨 IRAQ HAS BEEN HIT BY A NATIONWIDE POWER OUTAGE
Officials say the country’s entire power grid shut down across all provinces. Crews are working to restore power while authorities investigate the cause.
The outage comes as tensions in the region continue to rise.
Security sources say two drones were shot down near Baghdad International Airport earlier Wednesday. No injuries or damage were reported.
Explosions were also heard near Erbil airport in northern Iraq, where coalition forces are based.
The U.S. Embassy in Baghdad is urging American citizens to leave the country as soon as it is safely possible.
