Canadians in Puerto Vallarta, Mexico, have been ordered to shelter in place as violence erupts across Jalisco State, where criminal groups have set up roadblocks with burning vehicles, & reports of shootouts & explosions have emerged due to a cartel leader being killed by Mexican authorities. The situation has led Air Canada, Porter, & WestJet to cancel flights to Puerto Vallarta’s airport. The Canadian consulate has confirmed it is aware of & closely monitoring the unfolding events ✈️🚨🇲🇽
