Good Monday to you all! If one thing this weather has showed us it is that the majority of the population do not have an even basic level of prepping. Imagine if there was no warning and it was nationwide. All stores would be empty within 24 hours and chaos would ensue shortly after. Prepare for shortages.... BEFORE there are shortages.

Stay away from chaos and be a gray man. Bringing things into your house slowly. Don't be the neighbor everyone sees just as disaster hits emptying their car filled with food and supplies.

Stack and stack.

Low End Heat Security 🔥

During the cold snaps, and colder months, maintaining heat is important.

The most crucial is ensuring that your home and windows are insulated.

Taping off parts of your windows and doors that might be loosing heat.
Use a Thermal camera to show cold zones.

Electric Heat Hacks (If Power Exists)

Oil-Filled Radiator (Best)
• Low fire risk
• Slow, steady heat
• Efficient for small rooms

Space Heater + Thermal Mass
• Place heater near:
• Brick
• Stone
• Water containers (sealed)
They absorb heat and release it slowly.

Candle / Tea Light Heat (LOW heat, but useful)

Candles can heat small enclosed spaces.

Candle Heat Box (Emergency Only)
• 3–5 tea lights
• Clay pots OR metal container
• Brick or tile base

Produces gentle radiant heat for hands or a tiny space.

Hot Water Heat (Very effective)

Hot Water Bottles
• Any sealed bottle (metal or thick plastic)
• Fill with hot (not boiling) water
• Place:
• Under blankets
• At feet
• Near core

One bottle can radiate warmth for 4–8 hours
