BROOKLYN, NYC, New York
Firefighters responded this morning to 59th St bw New Utrecht Ave and 13th Ave after a manhole began heavily smoking, causing the cover to blow off into the street.
Multiple residents in the surrounding area are currently without power as utility crews work to assess the damage and determine the cause of the incident.
FDNY remains on scene to monitor conditions and ensure there is no further fire or hazard inside the electrical system. Con Edison has been notified and is expected to begin repairs shortly.
No injuries have been reported at this time. Further updates will follow as more information becomes available.

MALVERN, Ohio
An oil well pad exploded Tuesday morning in Carroll County, sending thick black smoke into the sky.
The explosion occurred around 7 a.m. on June Road in Malvern.
The FD said they have the fire under control.
No injuries have been reported.
According to the dept, EOG Resources was actively fracking on the pad at the time of the fire.
Firefighters say the company’s protocols shut down all of their equipment following the incident.

Service on the CTA Yellow Line bw Chicago's Rogers Park neighborhood and suburban Skokie was suspended during the morning rush Tuesday, after a car went off the rails.
A notice was posted at 4:45 a.m. that service was suspended on the line, and the suspension remained in effect as of just before 8 a.m.
Officials said an out-of-service train with no one on board jumped a switch near the Skokie maintenance yard, along the Yellow Line at Hamlin Avenue.
While no one was on the train that derailed, the main line was affected, and thus, Yellow Line services had to be suspended while Chicago Transit Authority workers rerailed the train.
Service had returned to normal as of the midday hours.

TERRE HAUTE, Indiana
A train derailment Tuesday morning at Wheeler Avenue and Erie Canal Road caused traffic backups and other issues in the area, Vigo County 911 reported.
Terre Haute Fire Department units were dispatched to the site at 6:41 a.m., Public Information Officer Nick Arnold said.
"Shortly after our units arrived on scene it was determined that though there were two rail cars off the track, both were upright," he added. "Traffic was only affected for a few minutes due to the crossing arms being down."
"Police were just needed for traffic control," said Terre Haute Police Department Public Information Officer Justin Sears.
First responders did not know what railroad was operating those rail cars. All lanes were fully open by 7:19 a.m.

Trump honors military for protecting border.
Instead of using our military to wage wars around the globe, Trump is using the military how it’s supposed to be used, to defend the homeland and the American People.

The Dems/MSM, and the weaklings on the Right, are going to squeal and moan the entire way, but this must be done. Trump is going to neutralize this threat to the American People and do what past Presidents failed to do.
