Reinforcing the southern-limit for the moisture they are pulling across the country - Heavy Spray Ops in this location today

Hit the Spray Ops with tower frequency - Create the environment you want - Create the conditions you want - Looks too me like they want all that moisture to exit via NC so they made a bubble for everything to pass around

Like Boss says

Rationing is a Myth

Be Selfish!!!!

Hoarding is a Myth!!!!

Hoarding is a myth, Hoarding myth is used so Goverments can have someone to blame and not acknowledge that rationing must take place due to a break down in the supply chain.

Task A

Keep food prepping

Do it for funsies
1. Go to Twitter.
2. Write: Shortage stock up
3. Read "Top" tweets, see date.
4. Sort by "Latest", read tweets.
5. Analyze Intel.
6. Draw a hypothesis for the next 6 months.

Task B

Take the #GoodwillChallenge.

Go check out your local Goodwill, Salvation Army, or locally owned and operated thrift store to hunt down SHTF supplies.

See what you can find to put your upcycling skills to the test. Can you repurpose what you find?

This will be an important skill to cultivate in the event of an emergency or a supply chain collapse.

Take the challenge and practice now while you have time.

People in Hurricane areas know this too well

You might have a generator but you hook it for some lights and the fridge. If its really powerful maybe AC or fans, but the little electric appliances cannot be used

Things like pressure cooker that can be place over charcoal

Cast irons, mason jars, hunting knifes, books, electronics,

Caring for Birds in AutumnπŸ¦β€β¬›πŸ¦…πŸ¦‰

Autumn is a turning season. The air sharpens, leaves drop in slow spirals, and the birds begin to move differentlyβ€”some restless, preparing for journeys that stretch across continents, others settling in to face the cold months ahead. The chorus of summer softens. What was once busy and loud grows quieter, more deliberate. The world feels in-between, and so do the birds.

Caring for them in autumn means paying attention to these shifts. Migration is in full swing, and for many birds, fat and fuel matter more than anything. Food offered now is more than a snackβ€”it can be a crucial stopover. Black oil sunflower seeds, peanuts, nyjer for the finches, suet that holds firm in the cooling weatherβ€”these are gifts that keep wings strong. Fruits and berries left on shrubs are treasures too, so don’t be in a hurry to strip every branch bare. The birds know where to find them, and they’ll remember.

Water is still essential, even as the air cools. In fact, it may matter more now, as natural sources grow shallow with fallen leaves or start to freeze in the cold nights ahead. A basin kept clean and full, maybe with a small heater once frost arrives, can carry them through. Birds notice consistencyβ€”they’ll return to the place that’s always there when they need it.

Autumn is also the season of cover. Trees shed, gardens fade, and suddenly the open spaces feel exposed. Leaving seed heads standing, letting brush piles rest in a corner, keeping some of the mess that summer left behindβ€”these small things become shelter. To us, it may look unkempt; to a sparrow, it’s a shield from wind, to a wren, a place to disappear from hawks above.

And then there are the nests, emptying out. Young birds grown, spaces abandoned. Don’t rush to clear them away. They’ll sometimes be reused for roosting, or stripped for materials. Autumn is not about tidyingβ€”it’s about letting the landscape hold what it holds, until the birds have taken from it what they need.

As days shorten, you might notice the arrivals: juncos, sparrows, the winter flocks gathering in hedges. Others leave, flying unseen overhead at night, their calls like thin threads across the dark sky. Migration is one of the great mysteries still happening above us, every year, ancient and precise. When you fill a feeder or keep water clean, you areβ€”quietly, invisiblyβ€”part of that passage.

Caring for birds in autumn isn’t about grand gestures. It’s about holding space. A yard that’s not too neat, a feeder filled when food is scarce, a pool of water before ice forms. It’s about recognizing that the season of plenty is shifting, and that the smallest bit of help might mean a bird leaves stronger, or stays safer. The work is quiet, but the return is visibleβ€”in the sudden burst of wings from the shrubs, in the brief pause of a migrant who takes a sip and a seed before moving on, in the steady presence of those who choose to remain. Autumn is for noticing the leaving, and for preparing to host those who stay.
