“For the first 5 years or so, Wikipedia honestly tried to remain neutral, but then began a long and slow slide towards what I call leftist propaganda.
It's a strong statement, I understand, but at least the political content on Wikipedia nowadays is of that kind.
And this happened because in the last 10-15 years Wikipedia has strictly followed the course of the media, getting rid of all other sources from which it draws information.
First it got rid of blogs, and in the last 10 years almost all conservative information resources.
And since the media themselves, as well as the political establishment, have tilted to the left, Wikipedia followed them.
Ten years ago it would have been hard for me to believe in the possibility of such drastic changes. But by around 2010 the slide to the left had already begun.”
