- Bill is for Anastasia, it’s $35,000
- The incurrence company only pays $301.55
- The bill was then adjusted -$34,569.20
- Patient balance is $129.25
So the hospital can just adjust -$34,569.20 on a whim, for no reason because insurance is paying
This is what happens when the big insurance companies own the hospitals, the doctors and billing systems
