A police officer shot a hungry "zombie" who was actually eating a man. This video was captured on a police car's dashcam and body camera. A patrol officer tried to get the zombie to raise its hands. The zombie continued to tear into the victim and eat his flesh. The officer shot the zombie three times, but it didn't help much. The silhouette fell after a follow-up shot to the head.
The video is definitely not staged, as it's taken from the official Texas police website. Is it a real zombie?

On 01 March 2017, Lufkin Police received a 911 call from a person advising of an assault that was unfolding. The caller quickly became uncooperative and initially refused to provide any details on the incident . The called eventually described the scene as someone being ‘knifed to death.’ Officer Blake Witherspoon arrived on scene to fid the suspect, 40 year-old Epthen Johnson, on top of a victim stabbing him. Officer Witherspoon repeatedly shouted out orders, “let me see your hands”. The suspect seemed unfazed by the Officer’s presence and continued to stabbing the victim in the neck. Despite the officer firing 3 rounds striking the suspect he was unfazed and continued his assault. Officer Witherspoon fired one more round which stopped the attack and killed Johnson. Toxicology reports later showed Johnson had marijuana and PCP in his bloodstream.
The stabbing victim survived the attack by grabbing at the knife, resulting in deep wounds to his hands. He also suffered stab wounds near his belly button, his left eye, and cuts on his neck. He was expected to make a full recovery.
