Like Boss says
Rationing is a Myth
Be Selfish!!!!
Hoarding is a Myth!!!!
Hoarding is a myth, Hoarding myth is used so Goverments can have someone to blame and not acknowledge that rationing must take place due to a break down in the supply chain.

Task B
Take the #GoodwillChallenge.
Go check out your local Goodwill, Salvation Army, or locally owned and operated thrift store to hunt down SHTF supplies.
See what you can find to put your upcycling skills to the test. Can you repurpose what you find?
This will be an important skill to cultivate in the event of an emergency or a supply chain collapse.
Take the challenge and practice now while you have time.
People in Hurricane areas know this too well
You might have a generator but you hook it for some lights and the fridge. If its really powerful maybe AC or fans, but the little electric appliances cannot be used
Things like pressure cooker that can be place over charcoal
Cast irons, mason jars, hunting knifes, books, electronics,

Caring for Birds in the Summer ๐๐ฆ๐ฆโโฌ๐ฆ๐ฆ๐๏ธ๐ฆฉ๐ฆข
Summer is a season when the trees are full, the days stretch long, and the birds are everywhereโcalling at sunrise, darting through the heat, nesting quietly behind leaves and eaves. They make summer feel alive. But as busy and bright as the season is, itโs not always easy for them. The heat can be harsh. Water disappears fast. Young birds tumble from nests before theyโre ready. Thereโs a lot happening above our heads and in the shrubs nearby, even if we donโt always notice.
Helping birds in summer isnโt complicated. The most important thingโmore than food, more than shelterโis water. A simple bowl set out with fresh water can become a lifeline. Birds donโt just drink itโthey bathe in it, cool themselves, shake it through their feathers like a tiny ritual. Something shallow is best, with a few stones inside for safe footing. Set it somewhere shady if you can. And change the water every day or so, because algae grows quickly in the heat, and no bird wants to sip from a green puddle. Once they find it, theyโll return. Some will splash, others will perch at the edge, cautious but grateful in their way.
Food can help too, especially if your yard doesnโt have native plants or natural insect life. But summer is different from winterโseeds spoil faster, suet melts, and mold shows up if youโre not paying attention. So if youโre putting food out, do it mindfully. Offer fruit now and thenโslices of apple, a handful of grapes, maybe some soaked raisins if youโre feeling generous. And clean your feeders often, more than you think is necessary. Birds donโt have the luxury of being picky, but they shouldnโt have to risk eating spoiled food.
Shade matters more than people realize. A quiet corner under a bush, a patch of tall plants, the dense cover of a treeโthese are the places where birds escape the hottest part of the day. You donโt have to landscape anything special. In fact, letting part of your space grow a little wild can be the best gift. Donโt cut back every hedge. Let the weeds bloom. Birds will find what they need in what looks like mess to us.
Then thereโs the matter of nests. Summer is full of them, tucked away where we rarely look. And if you do spot oneโdonโt interfere. Let the parents come and go. Keep your distance, keep it quiet. If you want to help, you can leave out bits of natural nesting materialโtwigs, dry grass, even pet fur if itโs clean. But skip the yarn and string and dryer lint. Birds might try to use it, but it often causes more harm than good.
Not everything is visible. Sometimes, youโll find a fledgling on the ground, looking lost. Itโs tempting to scoop it up, to do something. But most of the time, itโs doing exactly what itโs supposed to. Learning to fly takes a few tries. The parents are probably close by, watching and waiting for you to move along. Unless itโs in danger from a cat or a road, the best thing to do is leave it be.
And yesโcats. Theyโre a part of many homes, but theyโre also one of the biggest threats to birds, especially during nesting season. If you can, keep them indoors during the day. Birds are already working hard to survive the heat; dodging a hunting instinct makes it harder.
Helping birds in summer is quiet work. It doesnโt ask much. A clean bowl of water. A safe place to perch. A little less trimming and a little more noticing. You donโt have to be a bird expert or have a big yard. Just pay attention. Once you do, youโll start to see the patternsโwho comes by in the morning, who likes the water, who sings from the wires when the sun gets low. And when you offer a bit of care, the birds come back. Not because they owe you anything, but because theyโve found a space that feels safeโand in summer, thatโs everything.
