ST. ALBANS, West Virginia

A CSX coal train jumped the tracks in Kanawha Co late Saturday night.

St. Albans police said 9 coal cars derailed with each car carrying approx 100 tons of coal. The derailment was reported at 11:34 p.m. in the Hansford St area.

The city has closed traffic at the Boone Street underpass, the Walnut and Spruce street crossings until CSX completes the cleanup.

There were no injuries reported and no word on what caused the derailment.

CSX took control of the scene early Sunday morning.

AURORA, Illinois

Residents evacuated an Aurora building as it reportedly crumbled to the ground on Saturday, according to the Aurora Illinois Police and Fire Departments.

Around 7 p.m. on Saturday, Aurora Illinois Police received reports of bricks falling from 104 E. Galena Blvd. onto the sidewalks and roadways. Residents from 102 and 104 E. Galena Blvd. were evacuated. 

Police shut down E Galena Blvd bw Broadway & Lincoln Ave. 

12 apartments & 2 businesses were affected. The Red Cross and Victim Services have been called out to assist displaced persons.

It's unclear what caused the structural damage to the buildings.

In Kazan, Russia, a trolleybus carrying passengers nearly fell into a sinkhole that opened up during a heavy rainstorm. According to local reports, no one was injured, and all passengers were safely and quickly evacuated.
