BREAKING: The entire Jacksboro Texas Police Department resigned and left.
An investigation into the city manager and internal turmoil at the police department allegedly is the reason why.
In response, the Jack County Sheriff’s Office has taken over law enforcement responsibilities for the city, located about 60 miles northwest of Fort Worth. The Jacksboro Police Department has not issued a statement, and calls to the department have gone unanswered.
