BATTLE CREEK, Michigan

A portion of Riverside Dr will be closed until further notice due to a sinkhole that collapsed a section of the road Friday morning.

The collapse happened shortly after 1 a.m. as city crews were wrapping up sewer repair work. The collapsed section of the road measures roughly 25 feet x 20 feet.

One car reportedly sustained damage, but no injuries were reported, according to city officials.

CANTON, Ohio

The City of Canton issued a notice Friday about an immediate road closure due to a safety issue.

According to a press release, 15th St. NW is closed from Woodland Ave. and Cleveland Ave.

The city says it’s due to subsidence, which means that part of the road is caving in.

Engineers are working to figure out what is causing the issue, so they can begin making repairs.

There is no word on when the road might reopen.

At 3:16 p.m. on the 25th, a ground hole with a diameter of 20 cm and a depth of 1.35 m occurred on Yeoksam-dong Road, Gangnam-gu, Seoul.

The FD, which was reported, confirmed that there was no loss of life and reported the situation to related agencies such as the police and ward offices.

Gangnam-gu office is urgently recovering the site and investigating the exact cause.
