JUST IN: Two officers with the Los Angeles Police Department called for backup after getting into an altercation with a suspect in the Florence neighborhood of South L.A.

The fight was reported at about 2:45 p.m. at 74th Street and Broadway, according to LAPD.

Initial reports indicated the two officers were hospitalized with minor injuries, their conditions were unavailable.
