for transforming El Salvador, The Trump administration just upgraded El Salvador’s travel safety rating to the highest possible level—now placing it safer than France.
The U.S. State Department acknowledged a significant decline in gang activity, violent crimes, and murders under President Nayib Bukele's stringent security policies.
Bukele, who boasts a 90% approval rating, transformed the former "murder capital" into a tourist hotspot safer than Canada, ahead of his visit to the White House next week.

Huge cracks have formed in the road surface of the Europaweg N206 on Tuesday afternoon, causing the road to also sag. The road is closed to traffic in both directions bw the Lammebrug and Hofvlietweg.
The tear was initially to be repaired Tuesday evening. "However, because the crack got bigger at the beginning of the afternoon, a simple repair was no longer sufficient", says a spokesman. "That is why an emergency repair will be carried out on the night of Tuesday to Wednesday, in which a piece of asphalt will be milled away and a new piece of asphalt will be applied."

13 miners were injured on Thursday in a gas explosion at a coal mine near Ankara, the capital of Turkey, authorities said.
The office of the provincial governor of Ankara indicated that the detonation occurred around 01:30 a.m. from Wednesday to Thursday due to an underground gas explosion at the Çayirhan coal mine.
At that time, 29 miners were working in the well, of whom thirteen were injured, one of them seriously.
Authorities indicated that the injured miners have been hospitalized and that an administrative investigation into the accident has been initiated.
