On Wednesday, October 30, PUK "Vodovod i Kanalizacija" starts maintenance work on the New Reservoir in the Water Factory. As they state, this is an extremely complex job that requires time, as it is necessary to completely empty the tank, wash, inspect the interior of the tank, disinfect and rinse. They note that these are regular periodic works that must be performed within the time limit provided by law. After the disinfection and rinsing process is completed, the tank is refilled and put into regular operation mode. Due to the aforementioned works, there is a possibility of intermittent low pressure and minimal water turbidity in the distribution system from Wednesday, October 30 to Friday, November 8. After the disinfection and flushing of the New Reservoir is completed, it is planned to carry out the same work in the Old Reservoir at the Water Factory by the end of the calendar year. "Vodovod" appeals to citizens for understanding and patience because, they point out, the mentioned works are necessary for the sake of a safer and more stable water supply. - These works are part of the planned improvement of the technical system, which ensures a more stable water supply of the entire distribution water supply network, a higher flow of water through the feeders in the processing plant and a high level of water quality - they conclude❤3

It is impossible at this moment to prove what is going on and that the water is unsafe, because laboratories do not accept samples from citizens anymore ( which was normal few years ago ).

Now, no one ever mentioned on any media channel or network, what we should all know, that after tap stopped running in the pipes and then started again, citizens should let it run for few minutes in order to wash out any possible health hazards such as legionella ⬇️
