Nevertheless, as the citizens claim, this time worms are not a problem in the Novi Sad water supply. “

Judging by the increased consumption of bottled water in last 6 months, the people of Novi Sad do not really believe the officials' announcements that the water in this city is safe to drink. Store shelves where bottled water used to be found are empty or just shyly filled.

In october 2024, there was announcement that tap water will not be safe to drink for 8 days ⬇️

On the 1st of November, railway station canopy collapse triggered the events that are still ongoing in this city, and nobody ever talked about water again for months, until few days ago ⬇️

At the moment, entire city is under water restricions from 23:00-04:00

While there is running water, it smells on gasoline and metals and has slightly slimy feel, meaning it is softened.

It is impossible at this moment to prove what is going on and that the water is unsafe, because laboratories do not accept samples from citizens anymore ( which was normal few years ago ).

Now, no one ever mentioned on any media channel or network, what we should all know, that after tap stopped running in the pipes and then started again, citizens should let it run for few minutes in order to wash out any possible health hazards such as legionella ⬇️

Expected for prices of bottled water to rise simultaneously as temperatures will rise this spring and summer.
