A fire with an explosion was reported this afternoon at a duplex in De Pere, leaving one occupant with minor injuries.

One fire was escalated to a fifth alarm and burned more than 90 acres.

One person and one dog dead after a house fire in Lafayette. Another person left in critical condition.

A house fire in the 4400 block of Eaton Dr. causes $100,000 in damages, according to officials.

The blazes were fueled by gusty winds, dry air and unusually high temperatures. The largest fire was burning 1,600 acres near Myrtle Beach.
