FRANKFORT, Kentucky
WLKY NewsChopper flew over a mudslide at Buffalo Trace Distillery in Frankfort Monday.
The collapse went all the way up to asphalt behind some of the bourbon facility's central buildings, causing a loss of some property into the Kentucky River.
Though crews are still assessing the situation, they know the mudslide resulted in one Conex cargo container and one temporary office building falling into the river.
There weren't any team members near the area at the time of the mudslide, and the affected property has been roped off to ensure the safety of those at the distillery.
Production, as well as tours and visitation at the distillery, have not been disrupted by the mudslide.

Residents over the weekend reported a “boom” that shook homes and scared animals and people in the Phelan area.
Ricardo Martinez of Phelan told the Daily Press that at around 10 p.m. Sunday, he heard a “loud boom,” which rattled his home.
“My 5 dogs all jumped up and started barking. I thought it was an earthquake, but I couldn’t find anything online.”
On Sunday night, the USGS reported no significant seismic activity in the area.
On the Phelan Informed FB page, Anna said, “Our whole house shook. We’re near Forever Wild.”
Residents in Pinon Hills, Baldy Mesa, and that south of El Mirage also shared that they heard the boom, felt their homes shake, and watched frightened dogs.
Similar unexplained booms have been reported in the High Desert region for decades, with residents offering various theories but no definitive answers.

GAGE CO., Nebraska
The Gage Co Sheriff's Office was dispatched to assist on a train derailment near Hoag, Nebraska (3 miles west of Beatrice).
The BNSF Railroad engine was traveling northeast along the tracks when the rear 2 cars of a 10 car train (2 engines, 7 tankers, and one hopper) derailed.
The BNSF sent out crews to get the cars back on the tracks.
The Gage Co Emergency Management director, the Gage Co Highway Department, & Southeast Communications coordinated efforts with BNSF.
The only road closure is SW 80th Rd, a minimum maintenance road running south from W Hickory Rd.
