A strong tornado accompanied by heavy rain hit the village of Tropodo in Sidoarjo district. The storm damaged several houses and uprooted trees, leading to blocked roads. In Sukomanungal district, Surabaya city, a tornado destroyed a building of a building material store near a gas station. Two motorcyclists waiting to refuel were injured by debris from the collapsed building.

NEW ORLEANS, Louisiana

The City of New Orleans announced Friday that the DPW has temporarily adjusted traffic on O’Keefe Ave bw Girod & Poydras St, due to public safety concerns.

Effective immediately, the left travel lane is now one-way with a 3-tons weight limit to reduce vibrations.

This change is necessary following the partial collapse of a building’s exterior brick wall.

Signage and barricades are in place to guide pedestrians and vehicles safely through the area.

The intersection will reopen once the building receives the necessary structural support. Initially, traffic will be limited to one lane until the area is fully restored.
