President Trump and Elon Musk will sit down for a joint interview with Fox News' Sean Hannity.

Special Counsel Jack Smith received $140,000 in pro bono legal services from a prominent Washington law firm before he resigned last month.

It’s not clear precisely why Smith sought outside legal advice, but Trump repeatedly railed against Smith and his team, vowing to fire them and sometimes appearing to call for them to be criminally prosecuted.

The Justice Department appears to have approved Smith’s request under an Office of Government Ethics regulation issued in 2023 that allows government employees to set up legal defense funds or take such services for free if the work is related to “the employee’s past or current official position” or to a position on a presidential campaign or transition team.

The Trump administration sent three illegal immigrants back to their home country of Venezuela in response to a judge's decision blocking them from being sent to Guantánamo Bay as part of a continued crackdown on illegal immigration. 

U.S. District Judge Kenneth J. Gonzales of New Mexico issued a memo Friday announcing the court had vacated a March 3 status conference for three Venezuelan migrants just five days after it blocked the Trump administration's efforts to transfer the migrants to Guantánamo Bay.

Since then, Gonzales said, respondents had filed a notice of removal "informing the court that all three petitioners were removed to Venezuela, their home country, on Feb. 10, 2025."

The U.S. Department of Education has launched a Title IX investigation into five Virginia school districts that allow boys to use girls’ facilities like restrooms and locker rooms, moving one step closer to revoking their federal funding.

The Education Department’s Office of Civil Rights (OCR) confirmed to America First Legal (AFL) that it is investigating Loudoun, Fairfax, Arlington, and Prince William Counties, as well as the City of Alexandria, for violating allegedly Title IX civil rights law meant to protect women and girls at school. AFL filed a formal complaint about the far-left Washington, D.C., suburb school districts in early February.
