A group of House Republicans is pushing to give President Trump more control over the federal spending process, as his administration continues to crack down on funding that does not align with the GOP agenda.

Rep. Andrew Clyde, R-Ga., is leading legislation to repeal the Impoundment Control Act, a 1974 Nixon-era law aimed at stopping the president from having unilateral say over government spending.

It would give Trump greater ability to accomplish his goals for Elon Musk and the Department of Government Efficiency (DOGE), Clyde told Fox News Digital in an interview.

Now we know why Dick Durbin is so afraid of Kash Patel firing FBI agents.
The deep state has assets embedded into the agency leaking sensitive ICE information, attempting to derail Homan's efforts.
This is supposed to be the most noble law enforcement agency in the entire nation and they have agents undermining Trump's mission to remove ILLEGAL immigrants.
If they would do this, imagine what else they would do.
Like try to hide the Epstein Island pedophile network from the masses.
This is how corrupt our government truly is.
It's just the tip of the iceberg.

One of the first efforts to restore a program run by the U.S. Agency for International Development has begun—and it is coming from Republicans.

Congressional Republicans from farm states are trying to save a $1.8 billion U.S. food-aid program that purchases U.S.-grown food and is administered by USAID, which has been largely closed by the Trump administration in recent weeks. A New GOP bill proposes moving oversight of the $1.8 billion program to the Agriculture Department.
