Trader Joe’s patrons nationwide have taken to social media to comment on a new policy that limits the amount of eggs shoppers can buy.
The company told Nexstar’s KOIN that limits are currently in place at all of its U.S. locations.
“Due to ongoing issues with the supply of eggs, we are currently limiting egg purchases to one dozen per customer, per day, in all Trader Joe’s stores across the country,” Trader Joe’s spokesperson Nakia Rohde said in an email. “We hope these limits will help to ensure that as many of our customers who need eggs are able to purchase them when they visit Trader Joe’s.”

They also have a cartel system of price matching, big retailers negotiate with each other to have similar prices so you get the same overpriced thing wherever you go. There are also problems with local agricultural producers, they don't really have a lot of power to negotiate with retailers. Retailers can literally fix their prices for them."

The sudden rise in "bird flu outbreaks" just happens to coincide with egg prices skyrocketing, manufactured food shortages, and another excuse to push lab-grown fake meat and synthetic eggs.
Meanwhile, pigeons are still raving outside of any 7-Eleven, and the crows are picking up lost jewelry in the parking lots, but no “bird flu crisis” for them.
