There exists two original Bristol glass vases painted by the artist for his own enjoyment in the 1870’s. They are original national treasures, in private collection. In 1967, they were to live on the marble mantle in the East Wing of The White House (LBJ administration), but never happened. Would be an incredible gift, to see them presented to Trump for the 250th commemoration of the signing of the Declaration, and see them live at the White House, after all. 🇺🇸

According to the Washington Post, the freeze has caused "chaos and confusion" within climate groups getting grants from the giant spending bill. During Biden's final weeks in office, federal agencies were racing to send out billions of dollars from the IRA and 99 percent of the payments that have gone out cannot be reversed, the outlet reported.
However, of the $50 billion that has been awarded in grants, only around $18 billion has actually been paid out to recipients, meaning that $32 billion could potentially be pulled back by the Trump administration. Around $20.5 billion of that $32 billion unspent is from the Environmental Protection Agency (EPA).

🥴Senate Democrats will hold so-called "spotlight" hearings as an oversight mechanism to the Trump administration, Senate Minority Leader Chuck Schumer (D-N.Y.) announced Monday.
The unofficial "spotlight" hearings are another arm of Democrats' new resistance movement, which Schumer said also will include litigation against the White House.
Schumer said in a letter to colleagues Monday that Senate Democrats will hold the oversight hearings to "expose the rampant wrongdoing of the Trump Administration."
Over the weekend, Schumer announced a new whistleblower portal for federal employees to "report corruption, abuses of power, and threats to public safety."
The Schumer letter Monday mirrors a plan of attack outlined by House Minority Leader Hakeem Jeffries (D-N.Y.) earlier this month.

Australian social media personality Lil Golo was rushed to the hospital after knocking himself out.
Lil Golo is known for his “unique” stunts like the one below but is now considering “retiring” after the latest one put him in the hospital.

It’s unclear exactly what injuries the influencer suffered but he appears to have full movement in his hands and legs.
