I’m not sticking up for the cartels
I’m just calling it as it is.

The Vistra battery storage facility in Moss Landing, California that has caught fire stores lithium-ion batteries that store energy for the California electricity grid. The facility is the world's largest utility-scale battery energy storage system.
Vistra is connected to the California Independent System Operator (CAISO) grid, stores energy in lithium-ion batteries and releases it to the grid when needed.
It has a capacity of 400 megawatts (MW) and 1,600 megawatt-hours (MWh). This is enough energy to power about 300,000 homes for four hours.
Vistra happens to have long-term contracts with Pacific Gas and Electric Company (PG&E)πŸ€”
