Looking at Pacific Palisades from Elysian Park. Fires have spread nonstop for the past 24 hours. Winds are still going strong. Sun completely covered by smoke.

UPDATE: The Palisades Fire is now 15,832 acres, it’s burning around 9-10 acres a minute on average since start.

Corpus Christi Church in the Palisades is destroyed.

Texas: Fire crews were called to the facility on Post Oak Road in WIlmer, near I-45, on Wednesday afternoon.

Dallas Fire-Rescue says the initial report was for a vehicle fire, but it now appears to be a pallet fire.

Smoke could be seen from miles away. Some tractor-trailers were seen in the area. A few were burned in the flames.

At this point, we do not know how the fire started.
