Okay so as far as what I think the heavy chems around The Gulf of California - Mexico and The Gulf of Mexico - Florida were for ⬇️

You'll notice at the beginning of this video that high pressure system over the middle of the country is on a steady route south southeast.

Then, around the same time the heavy spray ops began over The Gulf of Mexico and The Gulf of California (both in strong eastward jet streams) that high pressure system completely stalled then took a 90degree right turn and now seems to be headed dead east.
