Damage is reported to the La Casa de Andrea e Luciano building in Vanuatu following a strong 7.3 magnitude earthquake. The building houses the U.S. Embassy, the New Zealand High Commission and the French Embassy. Many other buildings were also damaged to varying degrees. There are reports of casualties and victims, their exact number is still unknown.
