Multiple law enforcement contacts tell me the weapon used in the murder of the United Healthcare CEO in NYC today looks like a “Welrod”, a bolt action, suppressed pistol first used in WW2.
From one contact:
“I’d bet my pension that this is the weapon that was used on the United CEO. It’s very very quiet and requires manual cycling after each round fired.
Top choice by pros for up-close, quiet work.”
I asked around to several law enforcement sources and they agree, though police have *not* confirmed this yet.
