WILLIAMSBURG, Virginia

A fire at an underground stormwater system Saturday morning caused a parking lot to partially collapse at the Williamsburg Premium Outlets.

According to the James City Co FD , crews were dispatched to the Premium Outlets at 9:00 a.m. Units arrived to find the parking lot behind the stores partially collapsed and an active fire in the underground facility.

Out of an abundance of caution and smoke, area businesses were evacuated and the public was encouraged to avoid the area.

A shop owner said he'd been in the parking lot when he noticed a trailer tilting. He then saw the ground was collapsing and alerted others.

At this time we don't know the extent of the damage, if anyone was injured, or the cause of the fire.

The Williamsburg Premium Outlets' website reports all retail stores are expected to reopen for normal operating hours Sunday.

SAGINAW, Michigan

Crews are working to remove a train that derailed Sunday afternoon with some railroad cars falling into the Saginaw River.

Saginaw firefighters are at the scene near Van Buren and Niagara streets after a report of a train derailment, according to a 1:42 p.m. text alert Sunday, Nov. 24, from Saginaw County Central Dispatch.

There will be several streets blocked by the train while crews work to remove it.

All railroad crossings south of the Court Street Bridge, including M-46, will be closed for several hours, officials said.

It’s unclear if any injuries were reported in the incident.

TALLAHASSEE, Florida

A house exploded and caught fire on Yancey St in Tallahassee's Levy Park neighborhood early Sunday morning, resulting in one death & rattling windows blocks away, police and neighbors said.

At approx 8:22 a.m crews arrived on scene & found heavy fire coming from a residence. During a search, one victim was found dead inside.

Glass shards littered the roadway in front of the house and were in neighbors' yards as far as 3 homes away. The home, which was still smoking as of 11 a.m., had a large charred crater in its front.

Witnesses saw smoke visible from the explosion as far away as downtown and it reverberated around the Levy Park neighborhood.

"There was a very big boom that shook our house. I thought something hit our house or maybe a transformer blew. "Then I saw (fire) trucks coming down the street."

Dombås, Norway

There is a passenger train on its way from Dombås to Åndalsnes that has derailed inside the station area at Dombås. There are no injuries, says press officer Mari Rjaanes in Bane Nor to NTB.

She says it is too early to say how long it will take before traffic can resume & how long it will take to get this properly back on track.

We currently do not have an overview of any damage to trains or infrastructure, she adds.

According to one traffic announcement from SJ Norge, the derailment must have occurred at low speed, and there will be buses for trains on the set route.
