Despite a widespread acceptance of the results of the 2024 presidential election, about one in 10 Democrats – or 9 percent – thought President-elect Donald Trump’s stunning victory was illegitimate, according to a Reuters/Ipsos poll that overall shows Americans more content with their electoral system and its results than they have been for several elections.

Even though there are doubts from some Dems and the burst of Trump Derangement Syndrome in the day after the election on social media with some supporters of Kamala Harris looking like they were ready for a padded room and the usual pushback from the usual suspects on The View, the mass protests anticipated by some have not happened, CNN noted.

Part of President-elect Donald’s Trump plan to rein in censorship, which he disclosed on Nov. 9, involves tweaking section 230 of the Communications Decency Act of 1996.

Section 230 gives social media companies liability immunity for user posts, though Trump wants it to apply only to those with “high standards of neutrality,” not just those who appear to routinely take down posts that lean conservative.

Without calling out by name Facebook, Instagram, TikTok, YouTube or a legacy media, Trump referred to “a sinister group of deep-state bureaucrats, Silicon Valley tyrants, left-wing activists and depraved corporate news media.”

Rep. Darrell Issa, R-Calif., took aim at Secretary of State Antony Blinken after it was reported that the State Department held therapy sessions for employees who were upset by President-elect Trump’s election victory.

"I am concerned that the Department is catering to federal employees who are personally devastated by the normal functioning of American democracy through the provision of government-funded mental health counseling because Kamala Harris was not elected President of the United States," Issa said in a letter to Blinken last week.

The letter comes after a Free Beacon report earlier this month that detailed two alleged therapy sessions that were held at the State Department after Trump’s victory, with sources telling the outlet that one such instance amounted to an information "cry session."

Unidentified drones were spotted last week over three British airbases that house United States Air Force operations, both nations confirmed, but didn’t say more about who might have sent the airborne devices.

The drones popped up at different times between Wednesday and Saturday, hovering over the Royal Air Force’s Mildenhall, Feltwell and Lakenheath bases in eastern England, all of which the American military uses for Air Force functions.

“The number of (unmanned aircraft systems) fluctuated, and they ranged in size and configuration,” a spokesperson for the US Air Forces in Europe told the outlet.

“Installation leaders determined that none of the incursions impacted base residents or critical infrastructure,” he added, without indicating whether they interpreted malicious intent.

Democratic allies of Joe Biden plotted a secret harassment campaign to keep a third-party challenger out of the 2024 election in order to ensure his victory, even as polls showed voters wanted another option and there were concerns about the president's health.

Their plan included 'bird dogging' members of Congress who would support such an option by sending activists to confront them at their offices.

It also details a target harassment campaign against No Labels founder Nancy Jacobson and her husband, Mark Penn, a longtime Democratic operative. The plan was to send clowns to block their Georgetown home and drive their neighbors crazy with early morning noise.

No Labels - which Penn is not a part of - was running a $70 million effort to field an alternative presidential candidate and get a third-party line on state ballots. But the centrist group dropped its efforts after Biden's allies damaged their ability to recruit a contender.

No Labels is now fighting back in federal court and public documents show an incredible proposal from Democrat strategists to clear the way for Biden to win a second term, using techniques straight out of a spy novel.

Appearing on CBS’s "The Takeout" podcast on Friday, Manchin recounted how he tried to convince Biden to work across the aisle on the American Rescue Plan and how he warned about the dangers of inflation if Democrats went through with plans to extend unemployment benefits through October 2021, but was ignored thanks to the advice of 17 Nobel laureates.

"I warned of that, and I got criticized, as you recall, they told me they had 17 Nobel laureates," Manchin said, later arguing that they were "17 educated idiots" that were telling Biden "what you want to hear because you paid them."
