Pakistan seeks ceasefire in deadly sectarian violence

Government officials met with tribal leaders in northern Pakistan on Sunday to attempt to strike a ceasefire in the swathe of Sunni-Shiite violence that has claimed 68 lives since Thursday.

"There have been positive developments in engagements with stakeholders," said the information minister for Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, the province where the violence has taken place.
