Massachusetts: A Boston woman is dead and her husband is badly hurt after their dog attacked them Monday.
A dog bit two people believed to be its owners as well as two police officers helping them in Boston on Monday afternoon, police said, leaving the two civilians, a woman and man, seriously hurt.
An officer shot the dog, which was wounded but still alive as of Monday evening, according to Boston police. The two civilians who were hurt were a woman, who had life-threatening injuries, and a man, who had serious injuries, while the officers' injuries were non-life-threatening.
