U.S. Central Command released footage of a new round of precision strikes on Iran, targeting coastal defense systems and cruise missile storage and launch sites on Greater Tunb Island. CENTCOM said the 90-minute operation further degraded Iran’s ability to attack commercial shipping in the Strait of Hormuz.

The strikes followed a seven-hour overnight campaign in which U.S. fighter jets, drones, and naval vessels hit dozens of Iranian military targets, including missile and drone sites, naval assets, and additional coastal defense systems.

Texas is bracing for dangerous flooding as a rare high-risk alert remains in effect, with some areas expected to receive another 10 to 15 inches of rain over the coming days.
