Directed Patrol Officers, with the assistance of the Vice Unit, served two search warrants at separate residences involved in the possession of illegal fireworks.

During the searches, #SantaAnaPD officers seized approximately 550 illegal fireworks weighing an estimated 650 pounds, with a combined retail value of approximately $8,000.
 
Both homeowners were issued $1,000 administrative citations for possessing illegal fireworks.
